Degradable Plastics

Bio and Oxo degradable products help to degrade plastics with an additive. It can be used for Virgin LDPE and PP, as well as recycled LDPE quality. 

Oxo-degradable plastics: Oxo-degradable additive has been tested in international laboratories and has conformed to ASTM 6954-04 standards. With reference to this standard, it begins to degrade between 18-24 months according to the usage rate or in the time period determined by the manufacturer and claims that it disappears without leaving toxic waste by turning into Water, Carbon Dioxide and trace amount of biomass. On the downside, dissolution begins on the shelf after 18-24 months. Shelf life is limited.
